This gorgeous Pink Tabebuia live edge river table/end table is unique. The wood used was recovered in Key West, FL from a tree destroyed during hurricane Irma in 2017. There will be a total or three tables made from this wood. This table is the first. It's been constructed out of epoxy liquid resin and pink tabebuia (aka trumpet tree) and sits on four handcrafted raw steel hairpin legs. Table has been finished with Rubio Monocoat two-part oil finish for natural looking matte finish while giving you wear-, heat-, and water-resistance. This uniquely crafted table is a very solid and heavy piece of hand-made furniture and would look great in ANY home. Dimensions are approximately 22.5” Length, 18" Width, 23.5” Height, and slab is 1.5" Thickness. The wood of Tabebuia is light to medium in weight. Tabebuia is an important timber tree of tropical America. This slab is unique and result of hurricane damage to the tree, as such some pieces may have cracks and/or internal damage. I have my best to maintain the unique story and look of the wood, while also addressing any imperfections to make a piece of furniture that will last a lifetime.
